Our new CRM crashed after 3 days, lost 200+ leads
We rolled out a new CRM system last month thinking it would finally get our sales team organized. After about 3 days of using it, the whole thing just froze up during a busy afternoon. Turns out the cloud server they put us on couldn't handle the data load from our 6 person team. We lost like 200 leads that hadn't been backed up yet, which was a real gut punch. I spent the next 48 hours manually re-entering contact info from emails and old spreadsheets. My boss is now looking at HubSpot as a replacement, but I'm nervous about moving everything again. Has anyone else dealt with a CRM migration that went south like this? What did you switch to?

Wait, were you guys on a shared server that couldn't handle basic CRM traffic? That sounds like a total setup for failure from the start.

Did your IT team not check the server specs before going live with it? That sounds like a nightmare scenario, and I feel for you having to manually re-enter all those leads. We had a similar disaster when our old system corrupted six months of data, and the rebuild was brutal.
