Hit $50k in side work last quarter and it kinda scared me

I've been doing freelance web design for local shops around Austin for about two years now. Last quarter I looked at my books and saw I pulled in over $50,000 just from side work alone. It surprised me because I never set a goal or planned for it, it just happened from referrals and repeat clients. Has anyone else had a milestone creep up on them like this and had to figure out if they should turn it into a full business?

That "kinda scared me" feeling is real because success forces you to actually choose a direction.

Started small with my own schedule first, let the demand grow naturally from there.
