Update: My entire monthly spread got wrecked when my cat knocked over a full cup of coffee last Tuesday.
I had to salvage the pages with a hairdryer and now my color-coded habit tracker is a blurry brown mess, so has anyone found a good waterproof ink that actually works with brush pens?

Cats are just doing what cats do, and maybe the real problem is putting a full coffee cup next to a paper system that can't handle a basic spill. Relying on special waterproof ink feels like fixing the wrong thing. The setup itself is too fragile if a single accident ruins everything. My own system uses a basic notebook and pencil because life happens, and @the_faith might be onto something about blaming the cat instead of the plan. Sometimes a simpler method that can survive a mess is better than chasing the perfect ink.
