Spent way too long trying to get my future log right

I wanted to set up a simple future log for the next six months, but I kept messing up the spacing for the months. I must have redrawn the calendar grid four times because I'd forget a day or make the boxes too small. What should have been a 20 minute task took me almost two hours last night. How do you guys lay out your future logs without wanting to throw the notebook?

My friend got so frustrated with spacing she just started writing future events in a running list by month.

That's a whole new level of planner stress. I mean, it's just a calendar, right? Are we really getting that upset about blank squares on a page? Some people act like a tight schedule in February is a personal attack. Maybe just use a pencil.
