Rant: My minimalist spread failed after 3 weeks, here's why I went back to chaos

I tried the whole clean, single-line weekly layout everyone raves about. By week 3 in Portland, I had stopped opening my journal entirely because it felt like a chore, not a tool. The empty white space was actually making me anxious and I kept forgetting tasks that needed more than one line of explanation. Turns out my brain needs dense, messy collections with scribbles and arrows to function. Anyone else ditch the aesthetic spreads for pure function and never look back?

Disagree, @rosel83, the clean spread kept me sane. Chaos just buries my tasks deeper.

Portland winters make me crave sticky notes everywhere. Just go full chaos.
