Overheard a librarian say she's been using the same bullet journal for 8 years

Was at the main branch downtown last week picking up some holds and heard two ladies talking at the desk. One said she started a fresh notebook every January 1st without fail. The other one, older lady probably 60s, said she's been using the same single Leuchtturm since 2017. Just adds new pages as she goes, never starts over. Said it's like a map of her whole life in one place. Got me thinking about my own stack of half finished notebooks I've got in a drawer. Maybe consistency beats fresh starts? Has anyone else stuck with one book for multiple years or am I just messy?

I mean, I get it but I actually do finish them. There's something really satisfying about flipping through a full notebook and seeing all that progress.
