I Finally Admitted My Bullet Journal Setup Was Too Fancy

Had a chat with my coworker Jen last week at lunch, she showed me her bujo that's literally just a spiral notebook and a black pen. Made me realize I spent $60 on washi tape and stamps last month for a system I barely use. Anyone else feel like they overcomplicate things just to make it look good?

My friend Sarah had this whole sticker and color coded system that took her an hour just to set up each week. She quit after a month and now uses a plain notebook for grocery lists only. Sometimes simple really is better.
