Found out my daily mood tracker was basically lying to me for 6 months
I was flipping back through my bullet journal from last year and noticed that I always marked "good" on sunny days and "bad" on rainy ones... until I actually counted the numbers. Turns out I had 73% more productive days in rainy weather than sunny, I guess because I stayed inside and actually worked. Has anyone else tracked something and found the opposite of what they expected?

Is it really that deep, though? I get the curiosity about noticing a pattern, but calling your mood tracker a liar because the weather doesn't match your productivity level feels a little dramatic. You marked your mood based on how you felt each day, not on how much work you got done. Those are two different things. Plenty of people feel cheerful on a sunny day even if they goof off outside, and a rainy day might make you feel grumpy but also keep you chained to your desk. I wouldn't call it a lie, I'd just call it normal life.

Isn't this just a bit of a stretch, though? I mean, people have felt different ways on sunny versus rainy days for as long as there have been days. Mixing up your feelings with how much you got done at your desk seems like mixing apples and oranges. It seems like the tracker did its job just fine, it just didn't tell you the story you wanted to hear.
