Traded daily coffee shop trips for a $20 French press, still miss the ritual

I used to drop $4.50 every morning at the cafe near my office in Denver, which added up to like $100 a month easy. Last January I bought a basic French press and now I make a big pot at home, but the actual act of standing in line and zoning out is something I genuinely miss. Has anyone else swapped a small luxury for savings but felt like they lost a tiny piece of their day?
