The grocery baseline shift I almost missed until March

I track our food spending every month and noticed our usual $420 grocery total crept to $560 between January and March, same family size and same stores in Cleveland. The culprit wasn't one big purchase, it was three separate price jumps on eggs, coffee, and pasta sauce that I just normalized as 'inflation noise' before comparing the old receipts side by side. Has anyone else caught a slow monthly climb like this before it became a permanent new normal, and what did you cut first to pull it back down?
