Pro tip: my barber in Cleveland cut my hair for free after I fixed his card reader, and it taught me more than any budgeting app
I was sitting in the chair at his shop on West 25th last month when his card reader died and he lost like $80 in walk-ins while we messed with it. I asked if he took cash and he said nobody carries it anymore, so now he keeps a $20 minimum sign and I keep $40 on me, and somehow I've stuck to my $150 fun budget for 8 weeks because paying cash actually hurts. Does anyone else feel the sting more when it's paper money leaving your hand?
