My neighbor's one comment about my grocery budget made me ditch my meal planning app entirely

She said 'you're just buying ingredients for aspirational dinners you'll never cook' and after tallying up I realized I was tossing $40 worth of spinach and herbs every week so I switched to just buying whatever's on clearance and cooking around that.
