DAE think store brands were junk until the receipt showed I saved $47 on one grocery run?
I always grabbed the name brand stuff without even looking at the price, figured the cheap cans and bags were a waste of money. Then my wife started buying the store brand at our Kroger in Dayton and I honestly could not taste a difference in the beans or the cereal. I added up one trip's receipt and we came out $47 ahead, which is real money when you shop for four people. Has anyone else made the switch on stuff they swore they would never buy generic?
