Unpopular opinion: my tire guy talked me out of new pads and I'm still not sure how to feel
Was in getting my tires rotated at a shop off Route 40 in Vandalia last Saturday and the guy, Mike, told me my pads had maybe 4mm left and that I'd be fine till fall. He could've sold me a full job on the spot and didn't, which weirdly made me trust him less at first. Now I keep second guessing every little squeak on the drive home. Do you all trust a shop that turns down easy money, or does that make you suspicious too?
