Unpopular opinion: most people bed their brake pads wrong and then wonder why they get vibration

I watched my neighbor do the whole 10 hard stops from 60 mph thing last week and he ended up with glazed pads because he never let them cool between runs, and I've seen the same mistake at three different shop visits this year, so what's your actual process for bedding in a fresh set of pads and rotors?

Wait, are you saying he did all ten stops back to back without giving the brakes time to cool? Thats exactly how you get glazed pads and warped rotors. My process is to do maybe 3 moderate stops from 40 mph to get the pads and rotors seated, then let them cool for at least 5 minutes before repeating. After that, I do 2 harder stops from 50 mph, then a full cool down. Never had a vibration issue doing it that way.
