Three calls in one afternoon and all of them were rear pads
Last Tuesday was just one of those days where everything lined up wrong. I had a Mazda 3, a Ford Escape, and an old Camry all come in back to back, every single one rear brake pads down to the metal. The Camry owner swore up and down she just had them done three months ago, but the dust boot was torn and the caliper slide was seized, so the inner pad got eaten in a week. I spent the whole afternoon fighting rusted brackets and explaining why rears wear faster than fronts on these newer cars with all the traction control. Anyone else get slammed with the exact same job three times in one shift, or is that just my luck?
