Swapped to drilled rotors after warping my third set
I kept cooking solid rotors towing a trailer on I-80 near Reno, after the third warp I finally tried drilled ones last spring. The dust is a bit worse but the pedal stays firm even after long downhill stretches where I used to smell burnt pads. Anyone else switch over and go back to solid for the extra bite, or am I stuck with the drill noise forever?

Ran solid rotors through Moab once on a rental Jeep, warped them so bad the steering wheel shook like a paint mixer. Drilled ones held up fine but they sang this weird high pitch whine every time I hit the brakes below 30. Honestly I'd take the noise over replacing rotors on the side of the road in 100 degree heat, so you're probably stuck with the drill song.
