PSA: the $22 caliper piston tool that saved my knuckles and my Sunday
Spent 3 hours fighting a rear caliper on my Civic with a C-clamp and a prayer until a buddy in Sacramento told me to just buy the $22 twist-back tool, and it spun that piston in 20 seconds flat, so has anyone else got a cheap tool that turned a nightmare job into a 5 minute one?

The part about the C-clamp and a prayer hit home for me. I used to be one of those guys who swore you could do everything with the tools you already had, and I fought a stuck piston on my old Accord for half a day because of it. My brother kept telling me to get the twist-back tool and I kept saying it was a waste of money for one job. Then I finally caved, and yeah, 20 seconds is no joke. I felt pretty dumb standing there with bloody knuckles while a $22 tool did in one breath what took me an afternoon. Now I own two of them and I don't touch a rear caliper without one.
