Had the worst brake job week of my life trying to swap pads on my 2012 Civic
Last month I decided to do a front pad swap on my 2012 Civic in my driveway, and it took me three whole days because a caliper bolt was seized so bad I had to borrow a torch from my buddy. Then when I finally got it all back together, I heard a grinding noise on the test drive and realized I forgot to put the anti-rattle clips back on. Has anyone else had a simple brake job turn into a nightmare because of one dumb mistake?

Pile on with the backup here. I once tried to be crafty and reupholster my own car seats with a heat gun, and the foam caught fire before I even got the fabric off. So @emmajackson, your torch story sounds like a Tuesday compared to my smoky Wednesday.
