Ceramic pads were a scam in my head, now I'm a full convert

Switched from semi-metallic to ceramics on my Civic last month after years of thinking they were overpriced hype. The brake dust difference is insane, my front wheels used to be black after 3 days. Anyone else refuse to try something for ages then get proven wrong?

My neighbor switched his F-150 to ceramics last spring and he's still talking about it, so I get the hype. But here's what I'm actually wondering - did you notice any real difference in braking feel when the pads are cold? I tried some cheap ceramics once and they felt kinda soft until they warmed up, like stepping on a sponge. Your Civic might be lighter than my SUV so maybe it's less of an issue for you.
