Brake job from hell on a rusty 2004 Tacoma, three days and one snapped bleeder later

Last Tuesday I decided to do rear pads and rotors on my Tacoma in the driveway. Everything fought me, the caliper bracket bolts needed a breaker bar and a torch, then the left bleeder valve snapped clean off leaving half the thread in the bore. Took two hours to drill and extract it with a spiral bit without wrecking the caliper. By the time I finished it was dark, my knuckles were raw, and I still had to bleed the whole system twice because I introduced air. Anyone else have a bleeder snap on them and end up just replacing the caliper instead of fighting it?

Quit being dramatic, that bleeder gave you a free lesson in patience so just swap the caliper next time and move on.
