A guy at the parts counter in Dayton said he sells 4 sets of rear pads for every 1 front set, and now I get why my rotors keep warping
He told me most people just look at the front pads because that is where the weight is, but the rears on these newer cars do way more work than we think thanks to stability control. I checked mine this weekend and my fronts had maybe 6mm left while the rears were down to 2mm after just 28,000 miles. Do you all actually check your rear pads or just wait until you hear grinding?
