Wrote off sealed bearings for years, then a guy in Tucson showed me his 6 year old hub shells
I always figured sealed was just marketing and repacked loose ball hubs every season, but he pulled three wheels off his rack with zero play and spin like day one after 12k miles of desert grit. Any of you still running loose ball on customer bikes, or did you all make the switch and not say anything?

That Tucson guy's 12k desert miles tells me heat cycling kills loose ball before grit ever does.
