Why does nobody talk about the cheap bearing press kits?

I lost a whole Saturday and $80 on a headset job because the press bent on the first use. Anyone have a brand they trust for heavy shop work?

Losing a whole Saturday and eighty bucks is brutal, man. I feel that in my soul. My first press kit was basically made of hopes and recycled soda cans. Tried to press a bottom bracket and the whole thing just... folded. Looked like modern art, but it cost me a weekend and a set of bearings. Learned the hard way that some tools you just can't cheap out on.
