Watched a flat-fix video from some shop in Oregon and it blew my mind
I was looking up how to patch a tubeless tire that kept leaking at the sidewall, and this mechanic showed a trick with a rubber cement plug and a dollar bill as a patch. Has anyone tried that method for tough sidewall holes?

Stumbled across that same Oregon shop video last week and tried it on my gravel bike. The dollar bill trick is wild but it actually held up after a 30 mile ride on rough dirt roads. Just make sure you rough up the sidewall area with sandpaper first, the rubber cement needs something to bite into or it'll peel off. Only downside is the paper patch eventually gets soggy if you ride in wet conditions a lot, so it's more of a temporary fix until you can vulcanize it properly. That mechanics channel has some real pro tips buried in there though, been binging their vids for like six hours straight.

Hold up, has anyone tested if a folded fast food wrapper works better than a dollar bill? The grease from the burger might help seal it against moisture better.
