Two days straight chasing a ghost on a di2 eTap build
Spent Tuesday and Wednesday trying to figure out why a customer's bike kept dropping signal mid ride. Turned out the little rubber grommet on the junction box was slightly torn, letting moisture in. Anyone else had weird electrical gremlins that took forever to track down?

Three weeks ago I had a similar nightmare with a 2023 Supersix Evo. The customer kept saying the shifting would just freeze up for like 2 seconds then come back, always on the same stretch of road. I swapped the battery, recharged everything, even replaced the derailleur cable housing just in case. Turned out the B Junction was mounted upside down under the stem, so water could pool in the rubber grommet opening. A tiny pinhole was letting condensation build up exactly when it hit that damp part of his ride. Your mileage may vary but I swear these di2 builds are more sensitive to water than my old 10 speed stuff ever was.

@caseyl18 that sounds like a rare fluke, not a design flaw since most of us ride in rain with zero issues.
