PSA: Don't waste money on cheap cassette removal tools

I figured I'd save a few bucks and bought a $12 no-name cassette tool off Amazon instead of the Park Tool one for $25. First time using it on a Shimano 11-speed, the teeth stripped out and rounded off the lockring. Had to cut the thing off with a dremel, wasted a whole afternoon. Has anyone else dealt with those cheap tools that just don't hold up?

Read somewhere that those cheap tools are made of a softer metal that just cant handle the torque. Shouldnt have to learn that lesson the hard way like you did, huh?

My buddy tried using a cheap socket set on a stuck bolt and the socket split right in half.
