Had to pick between a new torque wrench or a full bearing press set for the shop

Our shop budget was tight last month, so I could only get one big tool. It was either a digital torque wrench for precise carbon work, around $250, or a full bearing press and removal kit for headsets and bottom brackets. I went with the bearing press because we've been doing a lot of old bike overhauls lately. It's already saved us a ton of time on three projects this week alone. Has anyone else had to make a similar choice between a precision tool and a heavy-duty one for general repairs?

Makes sense to pick the tool you'll use most right now.

Practical tools win every time. My garage is full of fancy gadgets that looked cool in the store but just collect dust. The simple hammer and screwdriver get used weekly. People get sold on features they'll never actually need. It's a marketing trick to make you spend more money.

How often do you find yourself picking the practical tool over the fancy one?
