Finally saw why people swear by facing tools
Used to think facing a frame was just a waste of time. Extra step for no real gain. Then I got a customer's bike where the headset kept creaking no matter what I did. Took 15 minutes with a Park HTR-1 to face the headtube. Zero noise after. That was 3 months ago and the bike still rides perfect. Anybody else have a tool they ignored for years before trying?
