A guy in Flagstaff showed me his trick for seating tubeless tires, and it worked on the first try
Was up at a trailhead near Flagstaff last Saturday helping a rider with a flat when this older guy rolled up and watched me fight with my floor pump for a bit. He grabbed my wheel, flipped it so the valve was at the bottom, and told me to pull the valve core and hit it with a regular air compressor for two seconds before pumping. Tire popped on first try, no soapy water needed. I've done about 40 tubeless setups this season the hard way, so what's your go-to trick for stubborn beads?
