Thermometer probe failed mid-pork butt cook yesterday

My ThermoPro probe went haywire at 3am showing 212°F when the meat was clearly still tough. Had to finish that 14lb butt by feel and it came out okay but I was sweating bullets.

Man nothing like a 3am panic with a half-finished pork butt. At least you didn't have to call in the fire department to save your dinner.
