Wish I had that last weekend. I woke up to a 20-degree temperature swing and a brisket that looked like charcoal. That thing would have paid for itself in one cook.

My old Weber kettle was fine for years, honestly. Then I lost a whole pork shoulder to a sudden rainstorm that dropped the temp 30 degrees overnight. That single disaster made me save up for a pellet grill with a good controller. The peace of mind knowing it holds a steady temp, rain or wind, is just worth it now. I don't miss babysitting the fire all night.
