Blew $140 on a "competition grade" brisket injection kit and my backyard cook still beats it
Used it at a small cookoff in Waco back in April, followed the directions to the letter, and finished dead middle of 22 teams while my plain salt and pepper brisket from the month before scored better with the same judges, so has anybody actually gotten a real edge from one of these kits or am I just paying for a fancy box?
