Six weeks to notice my roommate was using my shampoo, not 2 days

I thought my bottle was draining slow, so I marked the level with a sharpie. Turns out Dave was refilling it with water to cover his tracks, took me a full six weeks and a sudsy shower to finally confront him. Has anyone else caught a roommate doing some weird silent replacement thing like that?
