Serious question, did anyone else learn to lock up their food because of a bad roommate?
Back in my college days at Kent State I left everything out in the open, cereal, leftovers, whatever, because I trusted people. Then my roommate Greg ate a $40 grocery haul in two days and shrugged it off, so now I keep a plastic bin with a padlock in my closet and label my stuff with tape. It felt paranoid for about a week but honestly it saved my budget and a lot of dumb arguments. How do you all handle shared food without turning your place into Fort Knox?
