Realized I was the bad roommate after 8 months of clashing with my neighbor

I kept blaming my roommate for eating my leftovers and never rinsing dishes, but then she showed me the shared calendar where I double-booked the living room every Thursday night for my game group... turns out I was the one leaving passive aggressive notes on the fridge the whole time. Has anyone else had that moment where you finally saw your own pattern and had to apologize or change your approach?

Man, I had to eat crow with my old roommate too, just sat down and said I screwed up and asked what they needed from me.
