The $45 pawn shop miter saw that nearly cost me a finger
Picked up an old Delta from a pawn shop off Route 22 for 45 bucks, figured it was a steal. After 2 cuts the blade guard jammed and the brake caught sparks, had to yank the plug mid-cut. I should've checked the arbor bearings before buying, now it's just a paperweight and I'm back to my handsaw. Anyone else gamble on cheap shop tools and regret it worse than renting?
