Vent: wasted $180 on a fancy scan tool that did the same thing as my $40 one
Bought an Autel unit off a buddy's recommendation for a Subaru misfire, but it couldn't pull any live data the cheap one couldn't, anyone else get burned by overbuying tools?

Have you tried seeing if it'll do key programming or TPMS stuff? I bought a pricey Autel once thinking it would save me on Subaru repairs but it turns out the cheap ones do the same live data stuff anyway. Sometimes these expensive scanners are just loaded with features you'll never use.
