My old shop foreman swore by a 3/8 impact for lug nuts, and my back still hates him
He ran a tire shop in Dallas for 20 years and claimed a torque wrench was a waste of time, so I copied him for my first 6 months. Now I'm 41 with two herniated discs and I want to know if anyone else got talked out of the right tool by a guy with more years than sense.
