Changed my mind about that $60 fuel pressure tester kit I bought on Amazon

I always thought the cheap mechanical gauges were fine for occasional use. But after struggling with a leaky fitting on a 2005 Civic last week that gave me false low readings, I finally swapped to the higher end Actron kit a buddy recommended. Took me maybe 15 minutes to pinpoint a bad fuel pump on a F-150 after that. Cost me $60 but it already paid for itself in saved diagnostic time. Anybody else have a tool purchase they fought but ended up loving?

Wait wait wait, you fought the $60 Actron kit? Is that the one with the nice quick-connect fittings? Man, I've been staring at that thing in my cart for months. I keep telling myself my old $25 gauge with the rusty fittings is fine, but then I spent three hours last Saturday chasing a ghost on a Subaru because the stupid Schrader valve adapter wouldn't seal. Did it really make that big of a difference on the Ford? I might have to just bite the bullet already.

Honestly @stellac97, are you kidding me, that kit is completely worth it for the quick-connect fittings alone.
