Changed my mind about impact guns after a stripped lug nut nightmare
I used to swear by my old manual cross wrench, thought electric tools were just overkill for home garage work. Then I was helping a buddy swap tires at his place off Old Denton Road, and one lug nut was seized so bad the cross wrench started rounding it off. I grabbed his Snap-On impact gun out of frustration, and it zipped that nut right off in half a second without any damage. Now I keep a cheap cordless impact in my trunk for emergencies, but I still feel weird about it you know? Anybody else have a tool they swore they'd never use until they had to?

Picked up a used compressor last week, still haven't touched my old hand pump.

Three days in and I'm pretty sure my old pump is feeling real lonely in the corner (not that I blame it).
