Two sides forming on our work location policy

Some folks say we need regular in-person meetings to stay connected and avoid mistakes. Others think full remote work is better for saving commute time and focusing on tasks. Leadership is gathering feedback before making a call. Where do you stand on this?

But that commute time saved often just gets spent doomscrolling instead of working.

That swap to doomscrolling could signal burnout, not laziness.

What if the doomscrolling happens because without a commute, there's no clear start to the work day? Your brain might not switch into work mode, so you scroll to put off starting. That could definitely tie into burnout, where you're too tired to even try. It's not about being lazy, it's about missing that physical and mental separation. Maybe the saved time just highlights how blurred the lines have become between personal and work life. So the real question is how do we build better boundaries when working from home?
