My neighbor's 3 word question about my raised beds stopped me cold
Been gardening in the same 4x8 plot behind my rental for 5 years, always adding compost and rotating crops. Last Saturday, old Mrs. Keller from two doors down leaned over the fence and asked, "Do you taste them?" I realized I'd grown 60 pounds of vegetables and given most away without ever eating a single tomato straight off the vine. That one question made me rethink why I even garden, so now I'm asking you all, what's the actual thing you get out of your hobby that you never say out loud?
