MapQuest directions vs Google Maps on a trip to Nashville last summer

I was driving from Louisville to Nashville for a wedding and my phone died. Had to rely on printed MapQuest directions my buddy printed back in 2019. Missed two exits and ended up in a neighborhood that definitely wasn't downtown. Google Maps reroutes you instantly, MapQuest just has you hope you find the right road. Anyone else ever get stuck with old school directions?

Think thats just how it goes with anything now, we get so used to instant fixes that having to actually figure something out feels impossible.

Ended up spending 3 hours last night trying to fix a simple router issue because I kept assuming it was some complex hardware problem. What got me was sitting down and actually reading the manual for once, turns out resetting the thing was literally one button hold. Sometimes the answer is right there but we overthink it because we're so used to needing an expert.
