I figured out a way to get my dog to take his pill without a fight, using a specific brand of cheese spread.

That cheese trick is a lifesaver. My cat used to be the same with her medicine, until we found this one weird pate flavor she goes nuts for (it's the liver one, go figure).

Liver pate is the magic bullet for my stubborn tabby too, he acts like it's a treat instead of medicine.
