Had to pick between a bigger TV or a nicer couch, and I'm regretting the TV
Last month I finally had enough saved to upgrade my tiny living room in Columbus, and I had exactly $1,450 to spend. I could either get a 65-inch set or a proper sectional from a local furniture place. I told myself I watch TV every night, so I went with the screen. Three weeks in, my back is killing me sitting on that old futon with a broken spring, and honestly the TV feels too big for the room anyway. My neighbor came over and said it looks like a movie theater in a closet. Should I have just spent the money on a decent couch and kept my old 42-inch, or is this something other people would have done too? I'm half tempted to return it and eat the restocking fee, but I want to hear how someone else handled this kind of call.

You still watch it every night with your back hurting?
