A guy in line at the DMV told me to try the app instead, and he was right

I was standing in line at the DMV in Reno last Tuesday with about 40 people ahead of me when the guy next to me said to just book online and skip the wait. I tried it that night and got an 8am slot for two days later, walked in and out in 15 minutes. Does your state let you do this or are you still stuck waiting in line?
