I'll never understand the hype around Attack on Titan's final season
Last month I forced myself through all 28 episodes of season 4, and the pacing was so bad I had to skip through half of the political debates. The action scenes were great but that whole thing with Eren felt rushed and confusing, am I the only one who thinks the earlier seasons were way better?

lol bro "28 episodes" is crazy, you almost made it to the finish line but tripped at the last hurdle. missing those 2 episodes is like saying you watched all of breaking bad but skipped the finale because you got bored of the meth cooking scenes. honestly the political debates in season 4 are like watching paint dry if the paint was also arguing about who gets to control the giant murder monsters, so i totally get the skip button abuse. but telling people you watched "all 28 episodes" when there's actually 30 is the kind of energy that gets you roasted in every anime group chat.

Correct you on one thing real quick - you said you watched "all 28 episodes of season 4" but that season actually has 30 episodes total. The part that you mentioned being rushed with Eren's arc is the final 8 episodes of the season, which is like the big climax they built up for years. I get why the political debates felt slow, thats a fair complaint for sure. But the show had to lay all that groundwork so the ending would actually make sense, even if it was a drag to get through. Earlier seasons did hit harder with the action and mystery though, not gonna argue with you there. Did you catch the extra two episodes or did you stop short?
