Hot take: I spent $80 on a special edition anime box set and it was a total waste.

I bought the 'Neon Skyline' collector's set for a series I loved as a kid, thinking the new art and interviews would be great. The discs were just the same old episodes with no real extras, and the box itself feels cheap. Has anyone else been let down by a pricey anime release that promised more than it delivered?

Ugh, this is why I'm so careful now. Honestly, it feels like every company is just selling fancy boxes for the same old stuff inside. They bank on nostalgia to make us ignore the cheap product.
