Found out last Tuesday that Dragon Ball Z only had 291 episodes and I was sure it was way more
I was scrolling through some old forum posts at like 11pm and someone brought up how many episodes DBZ actually ran. I always figured it was in the 500s because it felt like it went on forever when I was a kid. Turns out it was 291 total, and a big chunk of that was filler. When I was watching it on TV back in the day it felt like Goku was charging up a spirit bomb for 8 episodes straight. Now with streaming I can skip all that stuff and get through a whole arc in a weekend. Does anyone else remember it feeling way longer than it actually was, or was that just me being a kid with no concept of time?
